“Great little place just off the highway”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

I was impressed. We arrived at the cafe at a few minutes to 4pm (when they close), but the chap was very happy to serve us with anything from the extensive menu.

We chose a couple of sandwiches with tea and coffee and the whole thing was really delicious. It was almost 4.30 by the time we left, but at no time did we feel pressured to leave.

Super place - great attitude!

“Try the pretzel rolls!”
Reviewed April 5, 2014 via mobile

At one of our stops for breakfast they had run out of the croissants and substituted the pretzel roll with ham cheese and avacodo. Wonderful. Now I buy the rolls to take home also. Especially good when you slightly fry them with filling like a grilled cheese.

Great place to kick back and have a great cup of espresso with breakfast pastries or the wonderful ham egg cheese and avocado croissant.

“Fantastic pastries!”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

I love to stop by here to pick up some wonderful pastries and pies. We sometimes stop here for a cup of coffee and sweet treat with our friends. The pastries are first class and this place reminds me of cafes in Paris. It is truly a quality bakery and no disappointment whatsoever.

“A real community supported gem just off 1-5 near Everett”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

When you are driving the 1-5 between Vancouver and Seattle, there are lots of the old hum drum places to eat. Greg and Michelle Neumiller's lovely Smokey Point Bakery Cafe is a refreshing change, with hot home made soups and wonderful sandwiches made to order from their choice of diverse breads.
The cafe makes a very good cup of coffee, has outside tables, and is filled with regulars and locals that know all about the homemade toasted bacon lettuce and tomato sandwiches, the amazing variety of desserts, and the plethora of sandwich and salad choices. Prices are low, the quality is superb, the place is spotless and the service exceptional.

Two doors down in the little arcade mall is another find-a fabulous second hand book store.
This is my "go to" place to spend time on journeys through Washington State.
