Description: Adrift is a friendly, casual, locavore eatery with a creative and diverse menu. We serve breakfast all day, lunch, and dinner, and we source much of our meats, seafood, and produce from local farmers. We have an extensive seafood menu featuring local clams, mussels, scallops, oysters, crab, smoked trout, salmon, halibut, and catfish. Our Skagit Burgers are locally famous, they are made with local grass fed beef, housemade potato bun, balsamic caramelized red onions, and toasted garlic aioli. Drift in and join us for a great meal. Follow us on Facebook for specials and announcements!

When we tried to make a reservation for 7, we were told that 6:15 was our only option. That worked out fine; it wasn't too crowded and the service was good. The salmon was delicious. Bonus: The t-shirts are nice and soft!

We had a pretty decent breakfast here (as recommended by someone where we were staying). The pancakes were light, the egg was cooked as ordered and there were a couple piece of cut fruit on the plate. Nothing sensational. The only bacon offered was peppered bacon, and some of us cannot tolerate pepper. I'd suggest an additional offering. I always appreciate syrup being served warm, which this was not. Service was very pleasant, although not that speedy. We recognize that for breakfast there are often many people requiring service simultaneously. Coffee was just so-so . . .and a really good breakfast house should have really good coffee. There are some good local coffee roasters in the area, but they don't appear to serve it. We probably would try another spot for breakfast (Gere-A-Deli ? -- not open Sundays) before returning here. Not bad . . .just not great.

You enter the restaurant and immediately see a long counter with stools; great if you are in a hurry or dining alone. Walk towards the back where you wait to be seated at a table in the next room. The dining room has cute, colorful decor and numerous tables and booths. The menu has something for everyone. We tried the Clementine burger and the Grilled Cheese sandwich. The burger was a juicy patty topped with gorgonzola cheese, bacon, peppers and aoli on a fresh bun...just delicious. The grilled cheese was a tasty combination of different cheeses melted onto fresh crusty bread. Both sandwiches came with a side of baked home fries covered with a garlic seasoning...outstanding. Service was great; Samantha greeted us with a smile and offered friendly and attentive service. This is a great restaurant in the heart of historic downtown. Perhaps a bit on the pricey side: $32 for burger, grilled cheese, fries and soda.

This place can cook anything, as it is meant to be made.
Great daily specials, nice drink selection.
Absolutely worth the drive and the view, take the ferry to the San Juans for the night!
