We were so hungry coming back from Friday Harbor but it wasnt quite dinner and the place we wanted to go didnt open until 5:00. Decided to check out Rockfish Grill. It was so yummy. We had fish and chips....the coleslaw was not good. Also, the pizza was equally good. All in all great find.

We shared a Hawaiian pizza, some crab cakes and a bowl of seafood chowder. The pizza was very nice and reasonably priced. The crab cakes were flavourful and the accompanying sauce was nice. The chowder however had very little seafood in it and once it was all gone, the broth was very uninteresting and I left over half a bowl. The drink selection was very good and the service was excellent. The pricing was very reasonable.

Disclaimer: I am a regular at the Rockfish (but that in itself is probably a recommendation), and part of the allure is the insane number of good microbrews from the Anacortes Brewery, which is an integrated part of the Rockfish. Beers aside, the food is what you could call "gourmet pub grub". I am especially partial to the fish and chips, the chips being available in regular and sweet potato versions, or substitutionally with a salad and to the flat breads that are really a simplified pizza from the wood-fired oven. Because of this partiality I have not many other comments on the food, other than that my wife likes the salmon offerings, which are amoung several other seafood choices. Happy hour serves cheaper beer and smaller plates of some of the regular menu items.

This is a casual restaurant that is right next door to a brewery, so they serve lots of interesting beers. Their food is very good, service is great, and they often have live music. The price is right, too. It's a little noisy but still a great choice for dinner. We highly recommend.

Crab cakes are very good, salads are good. Like that they have a good variety of food and beer that the brew. Very relaxing but upbeat place to just relax and enjoy the beer and surroundings. Would eat there again for sure. Husband had fish tacos and highly recommends them
