Stayed here over a weekend and found Pioneer Trails RV Resort to be exceptional in every way. As a traveler you have choice of wooded and non-wooded sites, large, small etc. You name it and they likely have what you like in a site. Dogs are welcomed, but must not be of a breed that is on their banned list and need to be leashed at all times. As someone who owns a small dog that is always leashed, this policy is welcomed and adds to the relaxation factor in that you don't always have to be on the lookout for someone's enormous dog being off leash and wreaking havoc. They have a lovely off leash area for dogs that is fenced and secure.
Washrooms/showers were impeccably clean. The campsites were free of garbage and other flotsam that campers tend to leave behind. Garbage cans were emptied on a very regular basis and being that it was hot, this was appreciated. The fire pits were in good order as were the utility hook-ups.
The site is well patrolled and is VERY quiet at night. Holy smoke is it quiet! Privacy between sites is dependent on where you are in the park and again, comes down to individual tastes on this point.
All in all, we found the resort to be very enjoyable and well worth the visit. So much so that we are booked for another visit already!More
