Now this review is for two different meals.
We had dinner one night on the patio. Service for drinks, apps and salads were very prompt. Dinner how ever was another story.IT took about an hour to get our main entrees Once I got my steak it was over cooked. I spoke to the waitress about it. I declined to have it remade since it haf taken a long time to get it the first time.
The manager came over, I asked him if my steak was medium or not? Some places just cool it differently. He agreed that it was over cooked and said his apologizes and offered to comp our meals. I didnt think that was necessary, I just wanted to know if I needed to get it med rare the next time. He took care of both our meals and our app (which was hummis and VERY GOOD!). Over all the food was very good (besides the steak issue).

The next morning we came up for the $30.00 Champagne Brunch. Tons of seafood, all fresh and yummy! A few dessert options (try the coffee creme bruile) All the buffet you want to eat... then you order an entree too! They have apple pancakes, crab Benedict, steak and eggs, home made Hash and potatoes! Yum! Come hungry!
Totally Worth the price! Make reservations for this though!

Food and wine were good, for a very good price in modern decor. The place is overlooking the bay . An outside fireplace on the terrace gives a nice atmosphere . Service was good and fast . enjoy !

If you aren't very hungry and money is not an option then you'll love this restaurant. Very expensive for what you get. But the food is gourmet!

We went to 13 Moons this evening for a birthday dinner. We have been anticipating this evening since the restaurant opened in a new hotel additon to the Swinomish Casino a few months ago. We were not disappointed. Contrary to the opinion of the person who first submitted a review below, we found it to be a well priced restaurant considering the menu items and the ambiance. It is a beautiful, warm room and the service could not have been better. We had crab papparedelle ( a filling portion) which was an excellent dish and finished with a Bailey's cheesecake which was simply to die for. I saw other diners order meat and salmon dishes and they looked to be good sized portions, so I am quite sure no one left the place with the need to grab a pizza. With a bottle of Chardonnay the bill including tip came to under $100. Our only recommendation is that the appetizer selection needs to be a bit broader variety. We really didn't see anything that we would order. But no appetizer left us more room for desert! We will defintely be back and again are amazed at the marvelous variety of restaurants our little Anacortes has to offer.

My husband and I went here for a belated birthday dinner. Our first experience. A small restaurant, limited menu selection which looks like it is modified regularly depending on available items. We were seated immediately but it took a long time to get a server to our table. Our order took almost a hour before it arrived. Very slow service. Food was unique and interesting, not the best I have had but interesting combinations of things. We even had to ask the server what some things were because we had never heard of them before. Plate was very pretty and decorated nicely. The portion serving was so small that after dinner we stopped and got pizza on our way home. I was shocked to see such a small serving. The cost of my steak dinner was $27, which did not include a salad. That was another $12 for a small dinner salad with some salmon on it. I was shocked by the fact that we only got 3 of these little tiny potatoes, about as big around as my pinky finger and half as long. For the cost, throw a few more of those on there, their cheap! Had cheesecake since we were still hungry. By the time dinner was over, we were out $100 for 2 dinner, 2 salad and 1 piece of cheesecake, 1 glass of iced tea. The cost just was not worth what we got. I only rank it with 2 because the food was good. Manager was making rounds and spoke personally with the customers, beautiful setting. Can't imagine what dinner would have cost if we had drinks too.
