“OK but a little bland and greasy. Big portions.”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

The food is perfectly OK but definitely not great, and not very authentically Mexican. The exception is the salsa and tortilla chips, which are delicious. I had chille rellenos, but honestly everything on the menu seemed like the usual combinations of tortillas, beans, meat or vegetables, and cheese - lots of cheese. The beans were particularly dull. My husband had the fajitas, which at least have a different sauce and were fine, but also not great. All our portions were very big, including the kid's meal. The atmosphere and service are both pretty basic.

“Salsa impossible”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

I am local and have eaten here many times, I love the salsa. The lunch specials are a great value, and I usually order that. One of the main reasons I eat here is the salsa, but the portion is extremely small. Every time I ask for more salsa, the young kid typically sneers at me and says nothing. When he returns he drops the salsa down and says nothing again. It would be much more enjoyable if the service was friendlier. The owner is wonderful, I have talked to him many times, but the cranky kid waiter needs to go.

“Ok Mexican”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

I had the steak fajitas, they were nothing to write home about. The refried beans looked & tasted like they were out of a can. Food was served quickly and the service was good. Ok for a quick meal but I wouldn't go out of may way to eat there

“No frills, just good Mexican food!”
Reviewed September 12, 2012 via mobile

A take & go place with a few inside & outside tables. Service was fast & friendly. The chicken flautas were very good. Homemade flour tortilla stuffed with spicy chicken & baked instead of fried. Came with generous portions of re-fried beans, rice & condiments. Salsa and chips were also good. Finally have a favorite Mexican restaurant located in the Skagit Valley!
