“For the location, a great spot”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

I think the pictures will tell the most, but a nice little mountain that provides a great outlook spot for overlooking Deception Pass and Whidbey Island. Our GPS took us right there. The park is easy to navigate, though like any lookout, you can fall off and be killed as some of the memorials testify too. So caution if you go off the trails and start climbing around the cliff rocks. So if you are in the area, this is really a must stop for the best views of the Sound, Lake Campbell, Whidbey Island, etc. You cannot see Deception Pass bridge. This is right off of Hwy E20 going towards Deception Pass, just look for the little mountain with the two towers on the top.

“Epic Views”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

We made a quick morning stop here. The sun was shining and the views of the surrounding islands and waterways were amazing. Well worth the short drive. Make sure to stop at each of the vista points so you get to check out each viewpoint. We stopped at three. If you feel like a hike there are plenty with wooded shade and there is also climbing.

“Short ride to the top for great views”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

We stopped at Mt Erie on the way from Whidbey Island to Mt Baker. It's a short ride up the 1300 ft mountain with scenic vistas at the top. One can do this visit in less than an hour. There are a few viewpoints looking in all directions. The best view towards the San Juan Islands is a little lower down on the road.

“Awesome Viewpoint”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

The winding ride to the top is well worth it! There are several amazing viewpoints with spectacular vistas. We went up a bit before sunset and it was amazing! Don't forget your camera and perhaps a jacket. It was a bit windy at the top.
