“We were pleasantly more than pleased”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

We have seen this establishment from the sidewalk for several years now but always skeptical in trying something that hasn't been recommended to us. After reading the menu on the window as well as seeing the "Best" awards posted we decided we had better check this out. We are so happy that we did because it was some of the best Thai we have had in some time. The waite gal was excellent in all of her knowledge of the foods and sweet as well. We chose the two curries of chicken with Green Curry and the Pineapple curry. we were not disappointed as the presentation was well done, the aroma was wonderful and the flavors were excellent. We both chose a #2 in heat and it was spot on. We brought friends back the next evening and they were just as impressed as we were. We chose 4 different dshes, mostly chicken, one pork and all were wonderful. Husband chose a #3 this time and it was fairly hot, I can't imagine getting the #6 which is molten! The owner waited on our table and chatted with us about the place as well as boasting of his wife's cooking and the fresh ingredients that they use. The chef/owner/wife then came out and was darling. She invited us back with a tease of complimentary appetizers when we return. Return we will in the next couple of days because this was outstanding food all the way around. Clean place, fine help and excellent food.

“ok”

very delicious food, had a most enjoyable time there. The staff could have been more considerate- had to wait to be noticed! But after that first awkward encounter everything went up hill.

“Service and food poor”
Reviewed May 23, 2012

We live here in Anacortes and have eaten here several times. On the most recent, the service was slow, amateurish (maybe partly the kitchen's fault), and the main dishes were far too salty. I don't know if we will go back.

“Fantastic Food!”
Reviewed May 3, 2012

I'm generally not much a fan of asian cuisine, but Thai Season changed my mind. First of all, the people are friendly and the place is cozy. The pineapple curry is amazing, the chicken satay delicious and the fried banana with honey is beyond words. This is my new favorite place in Anacortes. Give it a try!

“It should be called Asian Season, not Thai Season”
Reviewed April 11, 2012

They appeared to still be working on their menu when we dined there. Their location is great, but their food isn't exactly Thai -- seems like they're trying to be too diverse and straying into Chinese as well. I doubt we'll go here again, but only because of their confused menu.
We had massaman curry and phad see ew, plus an appetizer. They were OK, but it was nothing to write home about -- definitely tasted more Chinese than Thai. I think we'd have been less disappointed of it have been called "Asian Season" rather than Thai Season.
