“A great lunch!”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

The lunch was superb, The chowder excellent, and the tomato basil soup with Italian sausage can stand on its own as a meal. It is also available vegetarian. A grilled sourdough sandwich with Dungeoness crab most excellent. The corkscrew macaroni with Cougar Gold cheese and crab fantastic. The gardens surrounding the winery are whimsically deorated and quite beautful. Wine tasting is available, over 30 varieties. The Chardoney with our lunch was average, and the reds sampled in the tasting room also fairly average and not up to the $30 average price range. A must stop location for excellent food and a fun stroll through a very imaginative landscape.

“An incredible lunch.”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

My husband and I took a friend to the Westport Winery for lunch. Since we have eaten there many times before, and always had the best meals, we could not wait to get Bob's opinion. Bob's business requires for him to travel a lot all over the country, which makes him quite the "gourmand".
On my suggestion he ordered the crab cakes. He was thrilled, the best he's ever had, which of course we totally agreed. He paired it with a glass of Bordello Blonde, an off dry Gewurztraminer with a light blend of Riesling. Bob's only wish was, that he could stay for another day, to have lunch there again tomorrow. However, he left with a case of wine, and a promise to return before years end.
He was one happy camper.

“Great event location!”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

We went to high school in Westport and recently held our small ten year reunion on the patio at the winery. The crab cakes were amazing, excellent wine, and delicious desserts. The service and accommodation for our event was above average! Plus the landscape and outdoor atmosphere can't be beat on a warm summer night. I was sad to read some of the poor reviews. People from the city who come down to our local area to visit should show a little more grace with their expectations. This is definitely worth stopping for...have a glass of wine and sit outside!

“Excellent meal and atmosphere”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

We had a wonderful dinner here. We did a wine tasting first prior to dinner and wound up buying three bottles of wine. The Jettycat Red is very good. The atmosphere and dining are are very attractive with a lot of local articles, news clippings, and art on the walls. The servers and timing on food prep were perfect with just the right amount of time between our appetizers/soup/salads and the main dinner. It was wonderfully relaxing, and we then walked a portion of the self-guided tour after dinner. All in all it was a wonderful evening.

Additionally if you have Celiac disease, they have a number of the dinners that are or can be prepared gluten free, and so far I haven't had any issues with food cross-contamination.

The only down side is that dinner is only served Friday and Saturday so reservations for dinner are highly recommended. In the event that you can't get in for dinner check my review on Odysseus in Westport.
