Was getting a bit late as we drove into Aberdeen, looked as dreary as its Scottish namesake ( apologies to any Aberdonian readers) so we decided to stay the night.
The options did not look promising until we found the Guesthouse Inn. Never stayed in a Guesthouse Inn, the surrounding area was not appealing but the inn looked ok. it was probably better than ok, in fact it was pretty good. Friendly staff, large, clean room with fully stocked kitchinette, bed was comfy, shower good and big, fluffy towels. The price was very good so if you find yourself in Aberdeen late at night you could do worse than the Guesthouse Inn.

Aberdeen is a depressing little town. Stayed here for the night, the other hotel options look rundown and dirty. Thankful to have found the Guesthouse Inn, which is comparable to a Comfort Inn, clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Next to railroad tracks but has double paned windows and air conditioning so can keep windows closed.

I didn't have huge expectations. It IS Aberdeen, after all. I was greeted two miles out of town with a radar cop and a ticket for going 10 miles over. Welcome to Aberdeen - and thanks for making our city coffers a little brighter. So, I wasn't in the greatest mood rolling into town. But the GuestHouse Inn was fine for the night - I was in town for a concert at the historic D&R Theater. Nothing spectacular about my stay. After touring Aberdeen, I may have gotten lucky, because there's not a lot to choose from. My room was on the third floor, overlooking train tracks. Swell. But the people were nice and my stay was OK. Decent breakfast in the AM. I'd stay there again. And next time, I'll slow down coming into Aberdeen. The ticket made for an expensive concert.

Stayed here for one night, in a King executive room, which had a mini kitchen. The room was very spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette had plates, cups, and utensils. I especially liked that the window opened, which is a rare feature these days. This was my first time at the GuestHouse brand, since they don't exist in the northeast, but I was very pleased.

This hotel is next to train tracks but no trains went by while we were there (or if they did, they weren't blowing their whistle)... excellent hotel to cook your own meal in if you like - or go to Billy's (walking distance) You can also stroll along the paved walkway that follows the river behind the hotel if you're into a nice little walk. Pool was beautiful and very warm. Friendly staff.

We stayed here on the first night of our vacation. Aberdeen was just a stopping over point to our ultimate destination - the Oregon Coast - so we weren't really looking for much, just a clean, quiet place to get a good night's rest. Aberdeen doesn't seem to have much in the way of decent accommodation, but we were pleasantly suprised. The GuestHouse Inn & Suites measured up admirably against many other chain hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. It was a nice start to a good vacation!

Always clean and orderly, Staff are very accomodating and friendly.
Spent 3 nights and had few issues, when I did the service recovery was great.
Business Center was nice, actually one of the more private ones i have seen in any hotel at any price. nice touch and conveniant location. FD was kind enough to Fax for me and I appreciated the noon check out.
Very nice stay.

Room Tip: I believe the Kings face the river, so i would opt for that. Also, the perspective is actually coole...
