Be sure to call ahead and let them know you are celebrating a birthday, even if it is your own, as the clues of opening a card and having a large gift bag on the table isn't enough. If you ask for water, don't be surprised if the waiter comes up and says to you ( we were two older women) "You are fine with water, right?" Then, if you order the pumpkin ravioli, don't be surprised if it comes out luke warm. I sent mine back. Another was served in a few minutes with apologies from a manager. The ravioli was over cooked with broken ravioli all over the plate. No one bothered to check back. Then, we ordered dessert. It used to be their policy to honor you on your birthday. We ordered the apple crisp to share and it was like eating baby food. They have taken the apples and chopped them so fine that the texture and taste was unappealing and bland.
Believe me, I am not that picky, but hoping for a hot pasta dish and a real apple crisp is asking too much apparently. It was very dissappointing.
