Myself and my wife had dinner here. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. She had the tandoori chicken and I had the stew lamb. I can't remember the name. It was good. But the naan bread with Indian cheese is a must. The bill was not bad either.

This restaurant is very good for buffet as we have many options when you prefer non-vegetarian indian food.

I had lunch here last week from the buffet. The buffet had a large variety and was cost effective. The food was tasty, it was nice to see some South Indian options on the menu. Would eat here again.

We were patrons of Banjara for years. In fact, we were there on opening night. The first five years or so everything about this restaurant was great. The food, the service, the management. It was our favorite restaurant. We moved away from the immediate area and it was a couple of years before we went back. When we did, it was obvious they had changed chefs and it wasn't as good but no real complaints.

We had lunch here yesterday (October 12) and the food was ok. The service was ok. (It looks as if the place has changed ownership but we were told that wasn't the case.) When we walked into the restaurant, there was a child's birthday being held in the one section of the restaurant which was fine by us.

However, about half-way into our lunch we realize that a woman from the birthday party is CHANGING HER BABY'S DIAPER ON TOP OF ONE OF THE DINING TABLES ON OUR SIDE OF THE RESTAURANT! We first advised our server who said there was nothing he could. He agreed it was disgusting but nothing he could do. We spoke to another man that seemed to be working in the restaurant and wasn't dressed in the server outfit and he told us the same thing. They both advised that there was no manager in the restaurant and that there was nothing they could do. We found this disgusting and lost appetite for our lunch. AND up to the time we left - approximately 30 minutes later - no one had cleaned the glass top of the table or swapped out the table cloth. You could see that the glass was smudged all over.

We will not go back to this restaurant because even if the non managers felt they couldn't say anything to the patron - it's clear that the sanitary standard at the restaurant is less than desired since the table was not promptly cleaned.
