Went there for lunch this past week. Pizza was too greasy and the crust was too thin. Ordered and received food quickly. Waitress was nice. Overall, poor food but pretty good service.

“Looks better than it tastes”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

Stopped in for pizza. Though the pizza Margarita looked incredible, it had little taste and a crust not worth finishing.

“Rubino's New York Style Pizzeria-Ashburn was terrible”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

Visited grossly-overpriced Rubino's Pizzeria this week ($40 for 2-pizzas). Because the Building is very poorly constructed (warehouse/garage-style roof with no sound baffling) all the very noisy patron children and other adults at neighboring tables made dining and hearing my own family talk to each other impossible. A birthday party of children 50-feet away echoed all over the room; all tables seemed to be screaming at each other just to make themselves heard. This indicates terrible restaurant design, or else everyone in Ashburn is rude and do not know how to control their children. Children everywhere were allowed to run amok; banging into other diners and tables/chairs carelessly without any apologies or regrets; throwing food at each other (food fights); etc. while their parents grouped together at another corner table and just let their children run wild like uncouth savages. The floors and neighboring tables were filthy (bus-help not cleaning empty tables). Ordered 2 Pizzas, which arrived 25-minutes later separated by 10-minutes in between each pizza (waitress said cooks forgot our second pizza and had to make it again). The pizzas were cold/room temperature (maybe because the 2-3 waitresses on hand let them stand on the counters too long before delivery to our table). Pizzas were so oily/greasy that whenever we picked-up the slice all the ingredients slide off the crust itself and fell all over the plate (Really !!! slid off the crust completely with every slice). We had to constantly clean grease off our tables, clothes, etc. Pizzas come with almost no tomato sauce on it, and tasted like artificial cheeseNo Waitress to clean our tables; no silverware on the tables (had to go searching for them and ask cooks). Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences we ever had. With 25-Pizza Restaurants in Loudon County (and 254 Pizza restaurants in combined Loudon & Fairfax Counties), I strongly recommend that everyone should avoid traveling way out here into the barren wastelands of Ashburn (flat plains west of Dulles Airport) just for this crappy service and terrible tasting pizza.

“Awesome NY style pizza”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

If you like giant slices of NY style pizza (the kind you have to fold in half to eat), then you'll like Rubino's. It's not overly cheesy or overly greasy, and they are generous with their toppings. The crust is what makes it special though. Just the right thickness, and browned on the bottom so that it has the right texture when you bite into it. Not soggy, not crispy. Their pasta dishes are great too, and they have "fill-to-order" cannoli for dessert. YUM!!
