It doesn't look like a Diner from the road but it has all of the trappings. During the week they provide a $3.99 breakfast that includes two eggs, bacon/sausage, and pancakes for only $3.99. Its hot and good. IHOP can't compare. Try it out when you visit or pass through Ashburn.

Everyone loves the idea of a diner. Lots of choices, interesting spins, solid food and a good value. This diner succeeds at having a lot of choices, but it's BAD food in meager portions at high prices is only exceeded in disappointment by the stunning lack of service. IT was hard to get seated (in a fairly empty place), then it took forever for someone to bother to get our order followed by an enormous amount of time to deliver the gruel. About 30 minutes from entry to delivery of breakfast items (eggs and french toasts), a coney dog and a salad. The food was sad. How do you make a chili hotdog bad? I guess when it is passingly warm topped with what tasted like canned chili you can get there pretty fast. Then there was the price(!), which was over $40 excluding tip.

It seemed like a fun idea. The place has remained open for a rather long time. It was convenient. It was a horrible experience. There are several options 1 mile in almost any direction, keep driving.

I like the breakfast much more than dinner but dinner is just ok. Not a fan of the hot dogs as much as the sandwiches. Come for breakfast and skip the dinner.

I always like to try the meatloaf at a new "grill" or "diner"; I wasn't disappointed with it and the very good cooked just right mixed veggies that came with it and the mashed potatoes. My wife had a pasta cheese dish that she thought was just "blah", not good tasting pasta and very plain tasting cheese sauce. I'd quickly get the meatloaf again.

Coming from the midwest where coney islands were invented, I wouldn't call this a coney island, more like a family restaurant with a wide ranging menu.

To me, a coney island serves a very traditional coney island style chili, which this place doesn't have and I was kind of disappointed by that.

The food was alright, nothing special.
