I eat here frequently for lunch. There are a number of reasons I keep coming back. One: the food. It’s good. Portions are large, hot and bursting with all those Afghan herbs and spices. Two: the owners are a good news, success story. Three: Located in a convenient Arlington location. They came to the United States with a solid work ethic and turned a dream into reality. Now they have a restaurant that embodies consistent quality, in a great location, all at affordable and reasonable prices. As to what to eat, while the kabobs are exceptional, I nearly always have the daily special. Everyday it changes, but you will find lamb curry, chicken, or vegetarian options, all served with rice, with a side and salad. The Afghan Bread is superb. Plus the place is open 24 hours a day and is frequented and loved by all those that have irregular hours because they know they can get a good, hot meal anytime. The interior is clean and (over) decorate with stickers, memorabilia and other pro-Western stuff.
