I love Thai food and have been told that Thai Square was one of the best. Frankly we were disappointed.

Alan ordered the luncheon special Chicken with Cashews. It came with a greasy spring roll that he did not finish. There were maybe 10 cashews in his serving.

I ordered a chicken satay to compare it to others. This was no where close to being a favorite. My chicken and noodles dish was nicely spiced, but it was one if the least appetizing looking dishes I have ever been served. The noodles were gummy. I picked through and ate the chicken.

I've waited a long time to try it, and this restaurant was not worth the drive from DC.

Thank Layne O

I forgot all about this place went there a few days ago and the meal was great they serve beer and wine only but at least you get a full glass of wine for 4.25 had the whole rockfish that was
fresh their apps are very good too if you want it spicier they will make it that way and of course like all thai restaurants they give you the 4 different condiment sauces that can spice up any dish
still in business after all these years glad I drove pass the place to remind me of another thai place I lke it because not a huge place and very comfortable setting

In my previous visit, I left regretting not being able to try the 'floating market noodle soup'. I finally make it back to the DC area to visit my buddy and this time I am determined to try it. The noodle is very spicy (spicy but not hot) and has wonderful flavor. My friend and I both enjoyed tremendously. However, as the title suggests, great flavor comes at a price. I do consider this dish to be a bit on the expensive side based on the price you pay and the amount of food you get. While my dish was good, my friend was not very lucky with the dish he ordered. He ordered beef with broccoli, which is a very basic dish in Asian restaurants. Unfortunately, the beef was overcooked and became rubbery. Based on these, I am downgrading one level for both the value and the food.

It's just down the street from Bangkok 54 but the prices are on average $1-2 more. Not a big deal though.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in the DC metro area. It's a hole in the wall but delivers authentic Thai cuisine. How do I know if it's authentic? Because I am Thai. This is one of my favorite places to go get Thai food. My usual favorites: chicken satay, sun dried pork, crispy duck with basil, pad see ew, crab fried rice.
