We love this place. The best margaritas! We also love the fish or shrimp tacos. The beef carbon is a winner too. Prices are reasonable and great service.

“Best fish tacos and duck carnitas”
Reviewed July 5, 2014

I always get a fish taco here. The fish is a crispy filet, and the crunchy side of slaw has real character. There are pickled onions and cheese as well, for a very filling taco at a reasonable price. The duck carnitas are also good, with the duck meat moist and the skin crunchy. Staff is always friendly and attentive.

“Love this place - good food for great prices”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

The Taqueria is one of my go-to lunch spots in Arlington. I usually get the fish tacos for $4 apiece - they're wonderful. Thumbs up on the guacamole as well. The staff has been there for a long time, and you don't ever have the "i'm new and screwed up your order - sorry" experience. On a scale of 1-10 - the food isn't a 10 but it's at least a 7. It's good eats at great prices. The decor is fun and they have booths - which i like because it cuts down the ambient noise if I need to have a conversation. I asked - and they don't make their own margarita mix from scratch. But they do make all their own sauces from scratch - the red hot sauce is particularly good.

“Not your average Mexican restaurant! Definitely a cut above!”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

I have been stopping in here whenever I am in the area, and still love it! A good Tecate or margarita, crab quesadilla, shrimp or fish tac o are superb. Don't expect a plate of food where the beans, rice, and entree all blend together in a glop under some unidentifiable sauce - each entree appears with an appropriate and tasteful side, the slaw is my favorite! The quality and service has always been friendly, prompt and helpful.

“Poor food and overpriced”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

I have no idea where everyone else who wrote a review for this taqueria went, because our food and experience was poor; maybe the happy hour is another deal. Service was quick and attentive. Ordered chicken quesadillas en the tacos al carbon with the lime-marinated beef. Food was drab and flavorless -- quesadillas had too much cheese and the beef tacos had too much onions. To top it all off, the tab was expensive for the quality of the food; the only redeeming factor was the margarita. Given the number of other options of Tex-Mex/Latin American food in the area, this is an option to give a miss.
