They make the best I've had besides what you can find in Turkey. The entire menu is a little pricey for me, but once in a while it's worth going.

“Good food; excellent atmosphere”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

We went here last Friday with a couple friends of ours (at their suggestion). We go fairly frequently to a more informal, cafeteria-style Lebanese taverna in Silver Spring, but this was a more formal, sit-down variety of the restaurant that has more variety at the upper end (but doesn't serve the same variety of sandwiches). I'm not sure that greater formality was worth the substantial higher price, but the food was quite good. The nicest part was the atmosphere. We sat outside in a very attractive plaza not far from the Pentagon City metro. We sat there for a couple hours and caught up with our friends (who we hadn't seen in a while), and the atmosphere allowed us to do that.

“Great place for vegans”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

we normally get all the appetizers for the meal. Love the puffed bread.
And the hummus is the best. Vegetarian Mezza is the best! And they have a pizza there with out the cheese that is soooo good!

“Outstanding Middle Eastern food”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

My husband and I dined at this restaurant recently and were VERY impressed! The menu choices are varied and numerous. The mesa, entre and dessert were outstanding! The manager and servers treated us well and were very attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to return.

“Not the same”
Reviewed August 19, 2012

This place used to be exceptional. Now the portions seem quite small and the quality is not what it used to be. Disheartening, because this place used to be amazing. We now visit the one in Crystal City which hasn't changed.
