A branch of the Florida-based bar chain, this "WoB" is different from most by offering food (a requirement for a liquor license in Virginia). The menu is basic "pub grub" concentrating on sandwiches, flatbreads and sharable munchies that are decent but not particularly memorable. Customers are also welcome to bring in food from other nearby restaurants or to have it delivered. They even have their neighbors' menus available.

What makes this a worthwhile stop if you like beer is the large selection of craft beers and the very knowledgable and friendly staff behind the bar. Curious about something on draft? They'll happily pour you a sample or tell you their own experience and opinions about a packaged beer. Beers can also be purchased "to go" if you want to take something in a bottle or can back to your home or your hotel.

World of Beers has a very comprehensive selection of beer. Lunch selections are very limited but they do allow you to order in from other restaurants.

If the weather is nice, sit outside and enjoy the breeze. I came here with a friend and he was interested in the restaurant's loyalty program, so the waitress brought him a card and a T-shirt. When the bill came at the end, there was a $15 charge for membership into this "exclusive" club. Apparently, you pay $15 for a T-shirt. To make good on their loyalty program, you need to buy 50 beers to start making this back. Then there are these ridiculous spending requirements to earn what basically amounts to useless nonsense.

That said, the waitress informed my friend that the $15 charge was printed on the website; mind you, in very fine print, but she removed the charge anyway. We ordered battered onion rings, which were very tasty but way too small of a portion for even one person, much less for two. The margherita flatbread (essentially a thin-crust pizza) was also delicious. The prices, while not that high in absolute terms, were pretty high for the portions you receive. I believe this place allows you to bring your own food, so I suggest that as on option.

Addressing the elephant in the room, there is a HUGE selection of beers from around the world (hence the name of the place) and some of the prices are decent for imports. But Bud Light should not cost as much as some of the exotic options.

The waitress had somewhat of a snobby attitude and never smiled during our service. Apparently, if you are not boyfriend material for this excuse of a server, you will be marginalized.
