By far my favorite coffee house. Mr Kim roasts coffee as needed. Always fresh, always perfect. Can buy bags to brew at home. One of three I buy, I prefer theirs. Not-over cooked, still have that rich oil on them. Always brewed perfectly. Personal touch; people come in and have whole conversations with "staff". I feel funny about quotes, since I kind of know them after all these years going there. Sandwiches really delicious, and personally made to order. FAVORITE PLACE

The coffee is good and the sandwiches--especially the grilled paninis are really tasty (try The Chief). The smoothies are pretty good as well.

I am giving it a 3-star as opposed to 5-star rating because it's gone downhill in recent years. I used to love this place--it's a great location in the oh-so-walkable Columbia Pike neighborhood--but it's lost some of its friendly warm vibe and it's always a little grungy, especially the bathrooms.

Still, as a neighborhood coffee shop (and not Starbucks!) it's well worth regular visits.

Very good coffee the couple of times I've stopped here. I've never had anything to eat, though, and my couple of visits have been 'grab-and-go.' The place is clean and well-kept, and the staff is courteous. Prices are standard coffee house prices, comparable to Starbucks.

This friendly little neighborhood coffee shop offers coffee, baked goods, and specialty sandwiches. It has a nice menu to choose from. The owner, Paul, is often behind the counter but will strike up a friendly conversation as you wait for coffee. The seating indoors is limited but on a nice day there is outdoor seating.
