Description: It's a new place that has just opened. I just got back from dinner and wanted to rave about what a great addition it is to our county.

My husband loved his food. Fried Calimari was lightly fried and not chewy, sweet potato fries were warm and moist on the inside, crunchy on the outside. I ate sautéed shrimp salad, it was just ok. They over filled the small bowl, so it was hard to not make a mess. The shrimp was just, ok.

Only two negatives, price and loudness. For two people and the above menu, it cost us $30. And we had great difficulty hearing each other because of how loud it was. The TV noise was high, as was the other patrons.

Wife & son & I decided based on nearby merchants' word of mouth. Been in location over a year, since previous Bear Rock Cafe folded. Quite pleasantly surprised. Surprisingly quick service: wife very pleased with fried soft shell crab; son liked boiled crawfish bag with 1/2 ear of sweet corn and boiled potato; my spicy seafood & sausage gumbo with rice was very good. Reminds one of Captain Pell's crab shack with its heavy butcher block paper instead of tablecloths & only spoons to use. Friendly owner Terrell working as waiter and attentive along with other wait staff and bus boys. Weekdays only lunch, only evenings. Weekends lunch & dinner. Parking a bit dicey on street and with fewer available spaces in garage also for condo residents above the storefront businesses. Anticipating a return soon.

My husband actually found this place through an ad on Facebook. The food is great especially the "bag" of seafood with the whole shebang seasoning. Gator bites are bad either. If you go Monday thru Thursday, they offer a special on the seafood broil.

I really enjoyed my dinner at Chasin' Tails. I read reviews and decided to try it during the week. I even found a spot on the street. The service was great, crawfish was also so but the shrimp was even better. Great value and good food

My first meal was breaded shrimp with Cajun fries, with the second the grilled Catfish Fillet, Cajun fries & a Romaine salad. Both meals very tasty & filling. Each meal was enough for a later meal.

The owner's go by the following: No Plates, No Forks, No Plates. Silverware & plates aren't used. Meals are served on a platter or in a bayou bag. Some reviewers have stated the bags are messy, which requires a bib. Meals are prepared to be eaten with the fingers, however forks are available, just ask for one. No napkins, instead a stand-up roll of paper towels.

Both times I was promptly seated, time about 4:30. Prices are reasonable. High tables with stools or tables & chairs are a customer's choice. Chasin' Tails is located just down the hill from the Econo Lodge on Lee Highway. Only street parking is available, if a person can find it.

I would no hesitation to stop again.
