“Beautiful and meaningful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

Can walk to this from the pentagon station/pentagon memorial in about 10-15 minutes. Impressive to see, excellent inscriptions and values that stimulate reflection. Can see this monument from many places around DC, beautiful. Even includes missing airmen/women wall.

“Good View”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

Nice memorial with possibly the best view of the city. The monument is pretty cool and can be seen from a lot of places from the city.

in the area keeps you from getting close to this memorial. Took photos of it from the Pentagon and Tidal Basin area.

“Beautiful spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

Not as grandiose as many of the other memorials, but symbolically beautiful in its own way. The view from the spot is spectacular.

“One of Arlington's newer memorials”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013 via mobile

Honoring the nation' s Air Force-- you can't miss this one from afar as you enter the Arlington area. The three soaring 270' spires just draw you to the site to find out what they are about. If they look familiar it is because they represent the contrails of planes flying in the missing man formation as well as the three core values of integrity, service and excellence. There's a plaza with a larger than life four person Honor Guard. Probably better appreciated from a distance but worth a stop on a memorial tour of the various branches of the military This is relatively new as it was dedicated in 2006.
