From the menu, appeal of the website, street location and other reviews, it might seem like this is a good place for a nice Italian dinner. I could not say one good thing about my experience there. I went with a friend, we also were not greeted, though there were plenty of people lounging around. The service seemed like a total joke all throughout the evening and we practically had to search for someone, anyone, to come take an order, remember our order and even to pay the bill.
The wines on the list were not available, and the waiter told us to just pay more for a bottle that they had on hand. The bottle came out and the waiter didn't know how to uncork it, broke the cork in the bottle and said it was their last one of that kind, but to choose a different bottle and just pay more for the other one they had on hand again. I totally believe the person did not know how to uncork the bottle, otherwise, I would have thought it was some type of scheme to pay more for wine, it was almost comedic by the time we did get to our wine.
The food took forever to come out, my gnocchi were beyond dry, my friend said her dish was lacking and nothing to really talk about. The price we paid was not worth any of the experience. From start to finish it was an utter disappointment and I could never recommend someone to go there.
As a side note, my friend told me that the reviews on Yelp were also unfavorable of this restaurant. Food for thought...
