“Perfect location”

This hotel is an easy walk to the Pentagon City Metro through the TSA complex's patio/courtyard area. Plus, Pentagon City has a mall and plenty of places to eat right there. A short ride to anywhere in the city.

The parking was steep at $22, but breakfast included eggs, meat, fruit, and just about anything you could want so I guess it's a trade-off.

The hotel was very spacious and nice. Our only complaint was that the elevator made a squealing noise that sounded like a scream so you may want to ask for a room further from the elevator.

Room Tip: Further from the elevator will be quieter.

Our family and a group of people just concluded three nights at the Residence Inn Pentagon City. We had a fabulous stay primarily due to how welcome the staff made us feel. They went out of their way to help us. The courtesy van was very convenient. The breakfast was also nice - right down to the homemade waffles. The rooms are standard, however, the beds were quite comfortable, kitchens well equipped and flat screens were crisp. The remote controls were in need of replacement however. We will definitely stay here again when traveling around DC and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Myself and son stayed at this location for numerous reasons; first and foremost price; location; pool; fitness room and breakfast. The suite we stayed in had a nice layout and nice view of the pentagon. Close to shopping mall and metro to easliy go into Downtown Washington (hint: cheaper to take metro - than to find parking in downtown D.C. area) just make sure to follow directions for getting a train pass everyone needs thier own card!! This hotel actually has a lifeguard - I don't really see those at the beaches anymore; I was very impressed. The breakfast was excellent and the dinning are was very spacious. The hotel even had a pool table and a fireplace for "comfy-time". If deciding to order food - take advantage of www.drdelivery.com. So many restaraunts were inside i.e. TGIF; Cheesecake Factory; Applebees etc...I feel the counterspace for the bathroom could have been bigger to rest tolietries and makeup and I feel the parking is overpriced.. Hint there is parking on the street - your veichle should be safe from thef the pentagon police is across the street.

This is your standard run of the mill Residence Inn, I really did not find anything exceptional here. The view overlooing the Pentagon and Washington Monument from my room was very nice.

Front Desk staff was efficient, courteous and no issues with the reservation. The room was a studio, had a kitchenette, kind size bed and a small bathroom. There was also a LCD TV on a swivel so it could be viewed from the couch or bed.

No issues with noise coming through the walls or from the hallways. There is a pay garage located under the hotel.

There are plenty of good restaurants in the area and the Metro (subway) is within easy walking distance.

My wife, 2 teen boys and I stayed here for six nights while we were in the DC area for touring/vacation. We had an excellent experience.

The room was a good sized two bedroom, two bath suite with a kitchen, ideal for families. Nothing fancy but everything was clean and everything worked.

The hotel has an ok pool and fitness area, and a pool table. Kept the boys away from the TV for awhile during down times. Free hot breakfast, although not great quality it served the purpose before a day of touring.

Great location - 3 blocks from the Metro (blue and yellow lines) and easy access to expressways. Also, within a 10-15 minute walk there is a large indoor mall, a grocery store, and a large shopping area with several restaurants (we ate at the Italian, Mediteranean, Irish Pub and Chammps - no five star dining but all fine for tired, hungry families).

Staff was very good. I am technically inept and needed help with the wireless internet - called the front desk to request assistance and someone was there in 10 minutes. There is no concierge but the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful whenever we asked for directions or advice.

Overall, I recommend and would certainly not hesitate to return.

We recently spent one night at this hotel just outside of Washington D.C. We were there for our annual visit for the Blues Concert in Rock Creek Park. We have stayed at B&Bs and also at hotels for this event and this time, after really doing my homework, the Residence Inn won out for price reasons mostly. When we arrived, we were more than happy to easily find a spot to park on the street, saving the $22 for garage parking, then the hotel was really visually appealing and looked brand new. Checking in was quick and pleasant and our room was awesome. Everything brand new, a mini kitchen that would have served us well if we had been staying for weeks! Great bed and flat screen t.v. also. The next morning, we expected the included breakfast to be coffee and assorted muffins, but their breakfast was nothing of the sort. Eggs, sausage, oatmeal, homefries, yogurt parfaits. I could go on. And several hotel workers just waiting to replenish each and every tray as they came close to emptying. We were very happy with our stay and will seek out the Residence Inns in our future travels.

Room Tip: I searched several sites and ended up the best rate was found on Marriott.com for this hotel.

I stayed here for 10 days when moving to the DC area and couldn't have been happier. The staff was very courteous and helpful the couple of times I had requests. The room was well kept and constantly cleaned. The breakfast is great kept up, but very busy during the week as many people stay there for business in addition to families visiting the area. The garage can be a bit tight on parking and is quite pricey. But I didn't have much choice in the matter. I'd probably stay again if I had to stay for business.
