A very popular tourist attraction but it is well worth a visit I have now been on 3 occasions. The precise pacing of the guard demonstrates teh reverence held by the soldiers detailed to guard it and the changing of the guard is well worth watching.

A moving experience at Arlington Cemetery. While your visiting the Tomb, view other gravesites of well-known individuals such as the Kennedy's. The Cemetery grounds are kept up very well and nicely trimmed and landscaped. Who knows--you may get to see a buriel in progress with the caisson led by the Old Guard from nearby Fort Meyer. Arlington Cemetery is right on the METRO line, one stop before the Pentagon.

It is a small but very touching site. To remember those who loved the US so much, they would fight for their country, dying and not being able to be identified, but still very much remembered.
