“Wow! A taste of Ireland”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

The fish and chips are so worth the trip and that is about all they serve but with excellent options for flavors.

“Disappointed because of high expectations”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

We have been seeking for Fish and Chips, those we had have in Ireland and including Dublin. This came highly recommended so while in Alexandria, we went there for lunch. We had grouper, cod and fries.

The batter was light, so that was good. Somehow, the end result was not exactly like those we had in Ireland. Pretty much like most of the fish and chips sold in pubs or tarverns. So, set lower expectations and you will be delighted with the results.

It is self service, with only a few bench seats. Folks do take out from this place.

“a good experience”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

there is nothing fancy about this place -- but it's got great personality. The fish and chips were pretty good - loved being served in paper bags. The dipping sauces were also good. It's a fun place - I'll be back!!!!

“Chipper little Chipper”
Reviewed July 26, 2012

Stumbled across this fab little restaurant/cafe/bar serving great fish and chips wrapped in paper bags in a relaxed bar style setting. Don't expect silver service - this is street food at its best - but served in an informal bar/cafe. The Fish and Chips were cooked to PERFECTION - everyone in the place was having a good time and really enjoying the food. Ended up sharing a table with an Ex-Pat - who told me he had come here for a special treat for himself - so must have a good local reputation..

“Nice little place for awesome fish and chips”
Reviewed July 7, 2012 via mobile

This place is TINY but good things come in small packages. They basically have only fish and chips with a few related items. They always have cod (my old standby) and they feature several other fish and seafood options. I can't lie. They fry a mean fish. They also have 5 dipping sauce options, making one order turn into tons of different flavors.

Don't expect a fancy experience. The food comes in a paper bag and there are precious few tables, but it doesn't matter. I have to hit this place up when I'm in town. If you want an authentic fish and chips experience, this is pretty darn close.
