“Decent Food, Great View & Service”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

Had brunch at Indigo this past weekend and the experience was good - not stellar, but good. The best part by far was the extremely friendly staff. A close second was the lovely view out onto the Potomac River, and for those who like plane spotting, onto National Airport. Brunch was a buffet and much of the food fell into the lukewarm to cold range. Boiled shrimp were nice, salmon was dry. Nice omelet bar and small salad bar. The restaurant is a bit beaten up with nicked tables & chairs, edging on the plates chipped off, etc. Strangely enough, the bathrooms were very nice and in far better shape than the main restaurant. Would we go back? Probably, especially in the summer for the view and to see if their a la carte menu is better.

“Great View, Food...Just Okay”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

We arrived just as they opened for lunch. The view is outstanding. I had black bean soup & the crab cake sandwich. The soup-good, the sandwich...okay. The crab cake was cloying, not flavorful. I actually was going to eat the cake and not the bread but the bread helped the flavor. My wife had the artichoke dip and a winter salad & thought they were both good. The service was okay. But we were sort of the forgotten couple. We didn't get bread, like everyone else, and had to ask for things that should have been offered.

“You can even park by the door”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

For a city where parking is a unending trial, this place offers parking, good food
AND a lovely view of the Potomac River. The decor is very attractive and inviting,
as well. We arrived early for lunch and found the peace and quiet heavenly.
I think this is a best kept secret!!

“Great grab soup”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

I really love the restaurant. The food is not the absolute best, but it's good. The view
is breath taking there's even a deck where my date and I danced one summer night
to no music. It's actually very romantic. The service is good. The food is pretty good.
I love the she crab soup! That's always been a favorite of mine. It used to be called
Potomac Landing, I like that name better. As a child I had been here with my parents.
It's definately worth going. You may like the food better than I. The bill for two people
who had drinks and appetizers was about $100 with tip.

“good but not great, nice location”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

We sat outside - warning - lots of plane noise from the airport, but very nice to sit out on their large deck close to the water next to a marina. Salad very good - mixed green salad with dried cranberries. I had Crab Orochiette, could have used more crab - a lot of pasta but would have also liked more spinach as well as more crab. Fellow diner had the filet, would have preferred sauce on the side. Brother had fried oysters - liked them. After dinner coffee was very good (decaf). Service attentive. Everything a la carte so a bit pricey.
