“Great food but can be loud”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

La Tasca is a Spanish Tapas restaurant in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. The dishes are all delicious but you will run a high tab to fill up- plan on at least $20 per person. The fried eggplant are great as are the bacon wrapped dates. You can't go wrong with any of the meats and fish (but make sure you order them properly or they will be overcooked and dry- medium or less). The only thing that keeps me from rating this restaurant higher is the noise level. They often have live entertainment which is fun but you will only be able to have a conversation with someone directly next to you without yelling.

“Great Tapas”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

Four of us had tapas at La Tasca. The waiter was attentive and offered good suggestions to our list of tapas. Each of our tapa selections was delicious and each dish was easily divided into four mini-portions. We ordered a liter of the sangria which came with a lot of fruit. We ate the fruit which had settled to the bottom of our glass and it was a way of cleansing your palate at the end of the meal. The entire evening was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend La Tasca.

“Great Sangria Brunch!”
Reviewed April 25, 2014 via mobile

We went to La Tasca on a dreary grey day and the food and sangria brightened our mood! We loved the tapas. The atmosphere was great. We sat by the window watching people walking past and really enjoyed our time. I would definitely come back!

“Delicious tapas”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

This was my first introduction to tapas and now I'm spoiled. No other tapas restaurant I've tried has measured up. The selection was great and the dishes were heavenly. Getting to have small portions of several different items is my favorite kind of meal. So glad that La Tasca's prices made such an experience so affordable.
