“Overpriced, Skimpy Portions, but Tastes Italian”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

This is not really a restaurant, more of a deli but you can sit at a few places....the sandwiches are made on authentic Italian bread, but why pay $7 for 2 slices of cold cuts on a nice roll? The soups are not too involved, but expensive. And the made-to-order salad -- fuggedabowdit! -- just walk an extra two blocks to Giant and make your own for 1/2 the price. Sorry to say because they're nice people and the taste is authentic, but they are too high priced for too little "stuff". $8 for a salad with pokey ingredients?? You spend $11 or $12 for a lunch that's a lot less than two other delis right across the street. Mi dispiace!

“Lunch and catering gem - cheaper than listed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2007

This great italian deli offers sandwiches, panini, salads, pizza, and daily specials. You can have a hearty lunch for $10...don't know who wrote the profile and said 20.

One of the hole-in-the wall gems amidst Old Town's overpriced white linen restaurants.

Terrific food.
