“Snobby maitre d and service”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

we went on NY Eve - food was wonderful but we were treated like second class citizens because we did not have a reservation. Then again, the restaurant had seating, so make a guess. This was our last try that night since we had not planned to be in town but got snowed in. We ate and went home

“Best food in Alexandria”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

The quality, service and presentation are excellent. The food preparation is perfect and the sauces and sides go wonderfully with the entree. Just exceptional and a must.
Halibut and scallops perfectly cooked.

“Great place until the Kareoke starts up”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Very nice dinner, food was excellent. However, unless a fan of Kareoke, make certain your reservation is early enough that you will be through with dinner before those festivities start up at 9:00.

“Grille @ Morrison House. Quaint, great food, but a bit pricey.”
Reviewed June 17, 2013 via mobile

Great little grille inside the Morrison house hotel. A small boutique hotel, where they have turned some of the rooms of the original house into separate dining rooms. Cuisine is French. The chef treated us with a small welcome appetizer, followed by some sorbet to cleanse the palate. The Cesar Salad is lightly grilled. While tasty, I didn't particularly care for blackened lettuce. The Salmon entree was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and very tasty. All bottles of wine were 50% off, which made it more affordable. The room was very tightly configured with the maximum number if tables that could be fit into this space. It was a less than crowded evening, so it worked for us. I would imagine it could be a bit noisy with a full house. Service was good, although it took quite some time to get the check once we were done. Nice location for a small, intimate group, no more than four people.

“A romantic and special night out!”
Reviewed June 3, 2013 via mobile

My boyfriend and I went here tonight for a lovely dinner. The food was fabulous, waitstaff was superb, and it's a lovely atmosphere! My only disappointment is that they were out of antelope. Everything else we had was wonderful.
