Granted, my friends and I went for lunch two days after Hurricane Sandy. Fortunately, the restaurant just missed the flooding. The historic building was relatively quiet and perfect for our gabfest lunch. We all four got the daily special...lobster & crab "burger" with a delicious bun, full of lobster meat and not much filling. The "patty" wasn't generous but enough to satisfy us. For $2 extra we were able to substitute a nice tossed salad with a lightly applied creamy dressing for the Old Bay (seafood) seasoning on the fries. One person got the fries and they were good. I also go a cup of the well-regarded she-crab soup, cream and sherry based and full of crab. It was delicious, as other TA reviewers have said. We also got two desserts, a chocolate cake that was like a "soft" fudge cake with raspberry coulis (sauce) and a white chocolate bread pudding with raspberries, to share. Both were very good and perfect for sharing as we each had a couple of bites of each. I will say this lunch was a little pricier than we usually spend but then we got lobster...with tax and tip, we each paid about $34 (there were a couple of cups of tea and coffee, too and a cup of Maryland seafood soup that looked good). Service was average only because the waiter did not remember who had ordered what, which was straightened out at the table.
