The service was unorganized and spotty. While this space could be spectacular, and the menu appears appealing, they just weren't able to deliver. Little things just seem to add up to an overall subpar experience. Mac and cheese? I think the key ingredient is the cheese, here, it's Mac and essence of cheese. Hard hard is it to cook rice? Seriously, it should never be al dente, or crunchy. Come on, just because you're in Old Town, doesn't mean you shouldn't deliver good service, and good food. Some attention to detail would go a long way.

“Beautifully Decorated”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

This restaurant reminds me of a bistro on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, LA. Such a classy place. I'm I'm wondering if the bar is still downstairs. They had great seafood gumbo.

“Great Cajun”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Ask for Tu, she is a server there and she is amazing! The food is Cajun, and very tasty. They do have a cigar bar upstairs. The Sunday brunch is really good too. During nice weather, they have great outside seating. Go check it out, you will love it.

“Great for Lunch or Brunch!”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

This was a great time in Old Town! The outdoor seating was very nice, and you get a nice view of the little town square on King Street. Me and a friend had the lunch portion of Chicken and Waffles, which is a must try if you like that dish! The waffles were wonderful. Other friends had the shrimp and grits and one of the brunch omelette dishes, and there was not a crumb left on anyone's plate. Our waitress could have been a bit more attentive and the food was a little slow coming out, but overall it was a really great time. I'd definitely come back

“Nice Surprise”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Made reservations on very short notice and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The menu was different with some creole reminders, including the best Jambalaya I have ever eaten. My wife tried the soft shells (her passion) and was very happy. Nice wine list and we had a very suitable Pinot Noir which paired well with our choices. Our server was great (Jim) and encouraged us to come back for Sat/Sun brunch - we did not have that opportunity, but will the next time. There was entertainment upstairs at 9pm but we left before that started. Great location near the river and streetside tables.
