“Nice quiet cigar bar upstairs - lousy pours”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2013

Tis review is for the cigar bar only. It is a nice mahogany wooded bar with a lounge attached over the restaurant. Afte 9pm they generally have live music. And it gets hard to relax or talk. Surprisingly the food here at the bar is very good. One downside is that the pours are very very light. It is the most disappointing thing about the bar. Would be a solid 4 stars otherwise

“Saturday Brunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2013 via mobile

Great brunch menu, would come back again. Enjoyed the chicken & waffles and the crawfish omelette. Both were accompanied by a glass of champaign. Nice setting in old town.

“Upstairs cigar bar a must for cigar lovers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

Stumbled upon this upstairs gem, with a beautiful bar, jazz quartet, 130 types of whiskey and cigar smoking allowed. The ventilation was great and the smoke didn't bother me a bit and my husband was purring like a kitten! Great time.

“Superb service, excellent food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

We visited this restaurant for my son-in-law's birthday (he is a regular at their upstairs cigar bar). From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel like royalty with prompt, attentive service. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made several helpful suggestions. My filet mignon was one of the best I've eaten. During the course of our meal both the chef and the manager visited our table. Upon hearing it was a birthday dinner, the manager returned with a complimentary bottle of wine, one of the better selections from the wine menu. Although I agree that the menu is limited, our large party allowed us to try many different dishes and all were excellent. I am surprised at other reviewer's complaints about service since I have only positive things to say about our experience.

“Good, Not Great”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2012

We stooped here for a light dinner, but we were a little disappointed by the limited menu. Most places have too many choices on the menu, 219 had too few. The food was good, in fact the "she crab" soup was very good. The calamari apatizer was fine for one person, but a little light to share.
