Description: Opened in 1998 in the West End of historic Alexandria, Virginia, Clyde's at Mark Center is a vivid celebration of sporting life on the water. Thirty-five years after Clyde's opened in Georgetown, this property showcases our evolution from restaurants to full-scale atmospheres. From an Adirondack fishing camp to a Chesapeake Bay hunt club, each room memorializes the beauty and adventure found on the water. When you can't visit Nantucket in person, Mark Center is gloriously outfitted with antique model sailboats, a replica Potomac boathouse and a cozy beach shack and bait shop that's ready to welcome any sea dog.

This place was recommend to us by our hotel front desk staff ... it was the best. A drive from hotel but soooo worth it. We had a large family group of 10 ... and we did a call ahead reservation only 30 minutes ahead .. our table was waiting for us when we arrive. This place has a nautical decour .. but kind of old English nautical .. kind of like the Titanic with the dark polished wood, navy, red, white colors .. it is beautiful .. the food and service were wonderful .. we had spent 10 hours driving in from another state to visit family .. so we were tired and hungry .. the menue had it all from appetizers, to sandwhiches and dinner ... we had a little bit of everything .. and it was all good.. i had the Turkey Burger .. and it was the absolute best ever ... either homemade or resturant .. it was not a frozen patty .. it was huge and juicy .. yes i used the word juicy about a turkey burger ... it was amazing .. so if you are a turkey burger kinda person you must have one here .. the rest of the group and combos of appetizers, sandwhiches and dinner ... the portions were huge .. we took so much back it was fresh and homemade .. we were all tired and a little punch after the long drive but our waiter rolled right with us .. made some good drink suggestions .. we relazed and had a great time .. they have good priced drink specials .. we were in the resturant but the bar looks like fun too.. it was kinda like dinning in the lower dinning on an old fashion cruise ship .. you just have to see it to believe it .. We had a group of 10 with orders all over the board and two pitchers of beer and some mixed drinks and the bill was jsut a little over $200.. so appx 20 each . you just have to experince this place to believe it .. very nice .. lots of fun ... good family time .. awesome atmosphere .. dont miss it ..

We met friends for dinner. Upbeat atmosphere, professional staff, well prepared drinks, creative and delicious food. The lump crab cake with pureed root veggies was heavenly. Nice salads. Something for everyone on menu and what we saw was all good. Great prices.

Really nice little resaturant. Comfortable atmosphere with a relaxed felling of being at home. Has a really nice 'cabin' or 'den' feel to it. Really good price point and the food is well above average. Have eaten here several times and the service is alway timely and pleasant, the courses don't come stacked on top of each other. There is actually time to enjoy the meal. Very short wait time for a table. Highly recommended for a nice relaxing meal.

I love the ambience, the food, the service, the decor. I have been to Clydes to eat pub grub and drink some brews at the bar while watching the Packers win, and I've gone with the family for dinner. The menu is always interesting (I love the roasted beet salad with goat cheese) and the children's menu has healthy choices like broiled cod and green beans. The quinoa stuffed acorn squash my daughter ordered was also superb. Always good food, good value, and great service. I come to nearby Arlington from New Mexico to visit family and always include a visit to Clyde's, too.

If you are staying at Hilton Mark Center and want to eat away from the hotel, this is one of the few options. The food is good, the prices okay, but the place gets very crowded and noisy.
