This is a comfy casual looking neighborhood restaurant with a very promising looking menu. The problem was service was awful (and it was a weeknight and not all that crowded) and the food was mediocre. Alas. Service first. My fault but I ordered a glass of wine I didn't love and wanted to try a different wine. I tried in vain to hail our waitress who ignored me each time. When my male companion tried to get her attention, he had no luck either. As for the food, I tried the beet salad with meyer lemon yogurt and pecans. Sounds yummy? Not so much. The roasted beets had the texture of canned beets and the meyer lemon yogurt sauce was all but not there. I had one itsy pecan chip (actually a chippete) on my plate. I tried the rockfish for my main course and it was soooo heavily salted that I stopped eating after about two bites. Since the waitress never came to check on us, I was not able to tell her it was inedible. When she finally came to clear plates she never asked why I left it untouched.
