“Convenient location with ok food”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

Visited Theisman's on Saturday early evening - the Michigan/Michigan State game was on and there was a boisterous crowd cheering on their respective teams. The restaurant got MUCH more crowded as the evening wore on and by the time we left there was a line out the door waiting to be seated - around 7:30PMThe service was good - the meals ranged from decnt to good. I had the short ribs special which were meaty but expensive IMHO opinion. My wife and daughter were similarly underwhelmed with their main courses which were a pasta dish and a chicken caesar salad, but since it was convenient to our hotel we were satisfied. We'll likely explore other restaurants on King Street in future visits to the area although Theisman's remains an option.

“It's a bar, not a restaurant”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

Of all the places to eat in Old Town, no need to stop here - unless you are looking to catch a game and have a beer ( and even if that's the case, there are much better establishments). The decor is tired and the food is nothing special. So many better options only steps away!

“Great place but prices go up food gets worse”
Reviewed October 21, 2012 via mobile

Stopped by Saturday afternoon and had appetisers and a few beers. Great selection of beer but the food was ok. Wings are smaller than they use to be and the price has went up again. nachos are more a single layer of 8 chips. Not the pile of chips with fixings you expect.

“Average”

Good service. Strong drink. Quick service. Caesar salad and dinner were mediocre; not very flavorful. Coffee not hot enough.

“Good spot for a bite”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

Ate here last night with a party of four.Everyone was pleased with their meal.I especially thought that the crabcake sandwich was above average.Although it seemed to be busy with an after work crowd, service was attentive and professional. It is close to the metro and hotels. Prices were also reasonable.
