We stay in Alexandria when we go to DC for work and attempt to try new places each time we go. We'd never gone to Brabo because every time we'd walked by they were always full. We were down to just two of us the last night of this last trip and we were finally able to try it and were not disappointed. The wine was very good. Our dessert was great - a chocolate bread pudding. I enjoyed the mussels, but I wouldn't say they really stood out. My favorite thing was the cheese plate with the different jams and things to have with the cheese and bread. It was fabulous. The atmosphere is good - where we sat was the area with the four tables for two up against the window, and it is a little cozy. I felt like I was dining in Europe, but that doesn't bother me. We made friends with the table next to us and had an entertaining evening!
