This restaurant is in a house in an improving neighborhood - not a place I'd have expected to find good food not that long ago. Unusual and worth a visit. Food was very good with an emphasis on the unusual, including international cuisine. Restaurant layout was odd because the place was clearly not originally built to be a restaurant - you walk up a flight of stairs upon arrival. Prices are reasonable.

Very nice place for brunch after the Alexandria Turkey Trot. Very family friendly. From the time you enter until you leave a very warm and welcoming establishment. A nice array of brunch items, all fresh and served hot out of the kitchen. Had a veggie hash with a really excellent sauce that totally complimented the dish.

I made my reservation via Open Table for the next morning for brunch. The next morning, they called to check on my special request and they were very accommodating. The food was great and the hostess and servers very courteous. The place was busy when we first got there but things slowed down a bit and it was nice that, even though we had finished eating and paid the bill, they did not push a group of cousins meeting up from all over the country out the door. Eager to return!
