“Enjoyed the King Street Trolley”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

This is a great old town to visit... lots of old time shops and the King Street Trolley is great. You can ride the entire street down to the harbor and back for free with stops along the way.. This is really nice after a day of sightseeing and you only want to have dinner and go home.

“fun location”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

didn't get to hardly any stores except for the Christmas store which was really nice. Had ice cream at Ben & Jerry's and lunch at Chadwicks, all very nice. The trolley needs to be expanded, very crowded but appreciated the ride

“VERY SPECIAL PART OF THE DC AREA.NO VISIT TO DC IS COMPLETE WITHOUT COMING HERE!!”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

Olde Towne is older than DC itself. !7th century roots with many historic venues. Why come here?``The restaurants, the water views along the Potomac, The world class artist colony on the water known as the Torpedo Factory, antique shops, friendly people, and great shopping. Also, if you have a dog or two, this is the place to visit. The shop owners put water bowls out for the 4 legged guests. Many of the restaurants permit you to bring your 4 legged buddies in for outdoor dining. You can take a water taxi from the pier at the end of King Street over to National Harbor or to Georgetown in the District. It does not get any better than Alexandria! Trust me, we have been living here for over 40 years.
