Quick, free, informative tour of one of the oldest churches in the country! Guide was energetic, and knowledgable about the history of the church. Nice grounds with some cool, really old headstones.
Worth the stop!!!

The docent spent as much time as we wanted descriping the church and famous people that have attended. We sat in the same pew as George Washington, FDR, Churchill and most of the 20th century presidents - it doesn't get much better than that!

The lady who greeted us was so friendly. She walked us right over to Washington's pew where she seated us and proceeded to share interesting history and details with us. It is definitely worth stopping by as you explore Old Town.

Dating back to the founding of the United States, this is an architecturally WONDERFUL sanctuary. Christ Church is NOT a "monument", but rather reflects the rich, living Christian heritage that was brought by settlers from England and their connection to the Anglican Communion. Friendly parishioners gladly share their house of worship with ALL !

I have made some great memories here! I was the junior bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding here and attended their first child's christening here. It is a great place to visit as a tourist, but try not to go in and interrupt a wedding or a church service! It is such a beautiful church where two historical figures worshiped and it is a great story to tell people back home! There isn't much to see, but it is fun to go into the church and walk around the small grounds. Traveler tip: don't wear high heels, they will get stuck in the bricks.
