After 8 wonderful years in business, Layla's relocated to Lake Ridge, VA, where Lebanese cuisine was nearly nonexistent. The same talented chef along with the same warm staff will continue providing the delicious Lebanese cuisine and friendly service guests have grown accustomed to.

Reasonable lebanesse food, the food is healthy and well cooked with little service but overall very good place.

We enjoyed every trip to Layla's, whether dining in or taking out. The service was always excellent and friendly, and very personable. The food was excellent as well, and kept us coming back time and time again to try new items or enjoy our favorites. Most definitely recommended

I am a big fan of Lebanese cuisine and live near Layla’s in Old Town. I typically visit about once and month and have found the food there consistently good, service reasonable, and dinner prices about average for King Street. Although I have never made a reservation, I understand they accept them and it would be recommended for Friday and Saturday nights. Like any establishment on King Street parking is a challenge however along Alfred Street in between King and Cameron is the Alfred Street Garage and this may be ones best bet. Although I like the food at Layla’s, I go there because of its proximity to my residence. There are other Lebanese restaurants in the area with comparable or maybe even better value.

We were looking for something that we could not get at home and we never had been to a restaurant that was strictly Lebanese. We walked in on a Saturday night without reservations because we did not know we needed one. We were lucky that they had a "no show" and were promptly seated. It was a hard decision, but we finally decided on Layla's Special Appetizer Platter. It had Baba Ghannouj, Hommos, Spinach Pie, Grape Leaves(we asked for Cheese Pie in place of the Grape Leaves) Falafel, and Tabouleh. It came with warm pita cut into triangles. All of it was really good, especially the tabouleh, baba ghannouj, and hommos. We also had Layla's Special Mixed Grill. It had one of each: beef, chicken, and lamb kabob. It came with rice and a salad(on the plate with the rice and kabobs) and a garlic sauce. We shared both the appetizer and the mixed grill and took some home. We also shared Ashta B'moz-According to the menu it is a house speciality-bannans, cream, honey and ground pistachio. It was very good and very different. I hope you enjoy it too.

What a meal. The food was very good - especially fresh and not overly expensive.
A great find in the midst of Old Town.
