Description: Named for a statue in of Antwerp, Belgium, BRABO Restaurant is as legendary and longstanding as its namesake hero. The award-winning talents of Chef Sebastien Rondier create unforgettable dining at BRABO Restaurant. The comfortable dining room's stylish details like a custom hammered copper bar reflect our historic Old Town location, topped off with an oversized antique map above the bar. The Brasserie up front features a lively atmosphere and hearty portions accompanied by a comprehensive cocktail list. Tucked away in the Formal Dining Room guests enjoy a leisurely paced meal of several courses in a Tasting Menu format. BRABO is dedicated to relationships with local farms and passionate artisans and is proud to feature local and regional products. Check in with one of our teammates for great recommendations of what to see and do around town- they love to share!

We live in Old Town and had avoided this restaurant because of negative feedback from the locals. But we liked The Tasting Room next door and decided to reserve at Brabo for my birthday. What a mistake. What I had imagined to be a nice restaurant turned out to be a Hilton Hotel eatery. Patrons in baseball caps, shorts and flip flops. Tourists. Any menu with $36 entrees should at least try and enforce some manner of dress code. Fake candles. A meh menu.
The $18 crab cake was stringy (not a lump in sight) and tasteless. We decided to split the loup de mer. What would have been a single portion the size of a deck of cards was split into the size of matchbooks. The tomato puree underneath tasted straight from a jar of Prego. With limp scallions which didn't serve any purpose.
Total bill: $150. Two glasses of wine and one cocktail.
For hotel guests, there a dozen better restaurants in Old Town. Service was indifferent. Ordered frites with a trio of sauces which didn't show up until we asked.
Couple next to us, the guy was drinking coke out of the bottle. Wearing a t-shirt.
Total rip off. Cannot fathom the positive reviews unless they are being posted by the management.

We had one of our best meals ever at Brabo. The food was very good and well presented. The service was attentive. When we were troubled by the noise from the bar, they unquestionly and graciously moved us to a quiter table.

The service and food offered at Brabo Restaurant are spectacular! Being the night after our wedding, the server even had the chef customize our dessert plate to say "congratulations". They helped to create a great post wedding memory!

We usually take our out of town visitors to the Brabo Tasting Room so that we can share a variety of "small plates. Most of my fiends love the mussels in season. I just love to graze!
