All of the staff are excellent. Our waiter, Devin was suberb. The presentation of the food, menu choices, and food quality were all very good. We were not crowded in, unlike many popular restarants, and we could carry on a conversation without raisning our voices. The evening exceeded our expectations.

Great night of amazing food.
Enjoyed the house pasta special and olive oil cake. I tried the cake out of curiosity and it did not disappoint. The cake included grapefruit and served with strawberry ice cream. Devon my server recommending eating the cake with the ice cream to mix sweet and sour flavors and that is really recommended.
I will also say Devon was a very knowledgeable server. She knew the menu inside and out and provided great recommendations.
Only negative was I had a mirror on the wall behind me that was used constantly to looking to see how the back of the restaurant patrons were doing and if they had finished their food but it seemed like I was being watched all the time.
Be prepared to spend a lot for the food. It is costly for a frugal traveler but it was a great food experience. It would definitely be a special occasion or celebration place to visit.

We had a group dinner here this past week and we all agreed that it was a good experience. The host had ordered charcuterie plates with delicious pate and cured meats. The bread was excellent. The sea scallop appetizer that I ordered was well prepared and presented, but I was dissapointed in their freshness. The chef redeemed himself with the artic char that was very good; very moist and fresh. I tasted all the desserts that were top notch.

Wonderful food in inviting atmosphere with exceptional staff who are attentive but not overwhelming. Try the mussels and fois gras as appetizers. Unbelievable. Enjoy the pork shank as a main course, you won't be sorry. But above everything, enjoy the location, atmosphere, and company you're with. That's what it's all about, no?

Having spent 3 nights in Alexandria and 3 dinners. One was good in the Thai restaurant; one was pretty bad at the Fish Market.....however, it's horses for courses, and if you are looking for that type of meal in a fast food restaurant, then no expectations...you get exactly that.

Our meal at the Brabo, was in a different category. It was fine dining. Excellent meal, well served and presented. Wines good and our waiter, knowledgeable. Obviously you pay more for a meal in this category. But for us, it was a lovely evening and we enjoyed all courses. We would definitely reccomend.
