My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family. The hotel itself is quite nice and the location was perfect for us. It isn't located in city centre so you will be walking a few blocks down to King Street, but that wasn't an issue for us since we love walking. Parking is $20/day, which I see seems high to some travelers, but honestly I thought it was a decent price since I've had to pay upwards of $50 for parking in other cities. The only downside to the parking is the tight spaces. We drove a small car and it was still really difficult getting in and out of the car without banging into the car next to you. We did not go to the restaurant or bar so I can't comment on those facilities. We did utilize the pool/fitness center and certainly have no complaints.
There were really only 2 cons for us. First, we had a room next to housekeeping so we were awakened every morning early by the talking and noise. The other con was the AC unit. It rattled so much that one night we had to turn it completely off. You are going to hear airplane traffic being close to Reagan so expect that.
Overall, for the price and location, I thought it was a very good hotel and I would definitely stay again when in the DC area.More
