Very Informative. Tours are giving by Freemasons so any question you may have about the Craft they are more than willing to Answer. Lots of Items on display from Washingtons days as a Mason. They even have his Lodge Chair and the clock that his doctor stopped at the time of his death. Great gift shop for memorobilia and Masonic items. If you have time to spare definantly check this out

The most visually spectacular destination
Great recap of Washington’s contributions as President, Citizen, General, and of course Freemason
Well layout exhibits dedicated to several branches of Freemasonry
Knowledgeable guides will tour you through most levels of the tower itself and the replica of Washington’s memorial lodge
You can visit other areas on your own as well
Don’t overlook Shriners’ room, a couple of active Blue lodge rooms and the library, and exhibit of states' Grand Lodges
A great detour - right next to DC
The visit is free of charge (they do ask for donation)
Their website gwmemorial.org – check for scheduled tours
