Absolutely beautiful!! The grounds are amazing. Quiet, country setting with seating outdoors or take your blanket and sit anywhere. Tasting room is beautiful and unique. I'm not a wine drinker, but went with a friend that is, I actually enjoyed the tasting though. $7 for a wine tasting (I think it was about 8 wines) and you get the glass.

Stopped here first on a tour of the nearby wineries. What a great place! Really set the bar high! The tasting room was beautiful, and the grounds were as well. Got to taste many wines, and enjoyed them all.

I've been to a few vineyards and have often had FREE tastings, I was so disappointed to hear $7 to taste, I would totally have bought a bottle of wine IF they would let me taste for free so walked away.............lovely place for weddings - gorgeous views and property.........but seriously you can't afford to give may 3 tastes then charge???

This is a lovely winery with great views and very good wine. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and there was a server (forget his name unfortunately) that made an excellent suggestion of a red wine to pair with ribs we were going to have for dinner. It was amazing how perfect the 2 went together. This is a great place to mark on your next wine tasting trip in Virginia!

I enjoyed our visit to Veritas, the grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed spending time with some friends there. There were plenty of places to sit and lounge on the grounds without it being rushed, or feeling like you had to "move on". I also thought the person conducting the tasting was knowledgeable and pleasant, without the "bougie" descriptions of food pairings you can often see at these kinds of places, like "this Merlot pairs well with wild boar and figs in a truffle sauce"...who the hell is going to cook that and then drink a Virginia red with it?!?! Anyway, she didn't do any of that. The grounds provided a very relaxing setting, the wines were decent, and I thought the Claret was one of their best.

The down side was that their crowd control in the tasting room was terrible. The line for the tastings filled the room, there were only two single person bathrooms, and they didn't have an outdoor bar set up where you could buy glasses or bottles without having to fight through the crowds inside the tasting room. I also could not tell if they had any food for purchase, but it didn't look like it.

On the whole a very pleasant place, but could probably use a few minor tweaks to make it even better.
