After watching a play at the Barter and taking a stroll on the Va. Creeper Trail on a lovely February afternoon, we liked the looks of this place and gave it a try. Very pleased that we did. The menu offers a wide price range and selection - from great sandwiches to lamb cutlets and ribeye. There was an enthusiastic and eclectic crowd, even at 6 p.m., and all seemed pleased with their food and experience. The baked custard dessert was excellent, as was the pecan pie. The owner was most welcoming and the staff energetic and skillful. You should try this place.
