I enjoyed my stay at Shavers of Abingdon. The room was clean and decorated quite nicely. Having a private bathroom down the hall was not an issue considering that they provided you with robes. Having coffee left outside your room in the morning was a nice touch.
The breakfast was good, but I thought the portions were small. Joan was happy to give you more by after a fruit plate you received one egg, one pice of bacon, a bisquit, and a scone. Not really a big deal.
Also, Abingdon is a beautiful town but the bed and breakfast is a bit off the beaten path.
