This is an eclectic soda shop complete with old fashioned drug store paraphanelia lining the walls. In the heat of the summer we've stopped here for a true soda, ice-cream sundae or milkshake.
This time we dropped in for lunch about 1:30 on a Friday afternoon. Plenty of parking. The interior was packed, so we elected to sit outside in the sunshine. The menu includes salads and many sandwhiches. I had a soup and sandwich, (tomate bisque and half of a reuben) while my wife enjoyed a pmento cheese sandwich. Service was a tad slow, but the place was mobbed and they had a large party going on inside. Tab came to $21. I discovered later that in addition to sodas, tea and water they also serve bottled beer.
This is a fun place to visit, the food is good and reasonably priced.
