This little inn has a welcoming atmosphere and competent staff. The decor may be a bit off putting to some as it has a bit of an overly precious look and a slight odor upon entering of I believe heavy potpourri . However many will like the feel and surrounds of Vermont and the town of Arlington. Food and speed of service for dinner were well timed. Perhaps the only point is that the main courses were inconsistent in serving temperature. For example, the mixed grill meat ran from room temperature to warm. Vegetable sides were hot and appetizing. Dining room at the entrance, which is quite small with an open fire for atmosphere, was not busy so not sure why this kitchen lapse. Keeping in mind location and pricing, an overall good dinner.
